Think of a Gene Key as a unique evolutionary code that lives inside your DNA. There are 64 Gene Keys in total, and your personal profile activates specific ones in specific areas of your life.

Each Gene Key holds a specific theme, a specific lesson and a specific gift. Together, your Gene Keys tell a story about your life. They reveal the patterns you may find yourself repeating, the gifts you are here to embody and the highest version of yourself that is waiting to emerge.

Your Gene Keys Profile maps which of these 64 keys shows up in specific areas of your life. And here is where it gets really beautiful. Every single key operates across a spectrum of three frequencies. That spectrum is called the Shadow, the Gift and the Siddhi.

What is a Gene Key?

If you have explored Human Design, astrology or the Enneagram you will notice some overlap in how your Gene Keys profile is generated. Like Human Design it uses your birth date, time and place.

But where Human Design focuses on how you are designed to operate in the world, the Gene Keys are primarily a contemplative journey inward. They are less about strategy and more about transformation.

To me, the Gene Keys dives much deeper than any other 'system' I have worked with. It is less a user manual and more an invitation into a deeper relationship with your own soul.

How is this different from Human Design or astrology?

Each Gene Key represents a transformational journey through three frequencies.

Your Shadow
The unconscious pattern, wound or defence mechanism that keeps you playing small. This is not something to be ashamed of. It is simply where the work begins.

Your Gift
What naturally emerges when you bring awareness, love and contemplation to your Shadow. Your gifts are not something you have to earn or develop from scratch. They are already inside you, waiting to be uncovered.

Your Siddhi
The highest possible expression of that energy. The fully awakened version of the key. The Siddhi cannot be forced or achieved through effort. You simply keep showing up for the inner work and it reveals itself in its own perfect timing.

The Shadow, the Gift and the Siddhi

Your Gene Keys Profile is a map that is completely unique to you, generated from your exact birth date, time and place. Within it you will find 11 spheres. Each sphere represents a specific area of your life, from your Life's Work and Evolution to your deepest Core wound and your relationship with prosperity.

Each sphere contains one Gene Key and one line, creating a unique combination that describes how that energy expresses through you.

The spheres are grouped into three sequences called the Golden Path. Each sequence builds on the last and takes you progressively deeper into yourself.

💖 The Activation Sequence: Discovering Your Genius
The first sequence maps your four Prime Gifts or foundational archetypes. Your Life's Work, your Evolution, your Radiance and your Purpose. These are the pillars of your genius and the foundation of your higher destiny. This is where your journey into the Gene Keys begins.

💖 The Venus Sequence: Transforming Through Relationships
The second sequence uses your closest relationships as a mirror for your deepest Shadow patterns. It leads you through a profound emotional transformation and opens your heart to a new quality of love. Both for others and for yourself.

💖 The Pearl Sequence: Prospering Through Your Purpose
The third sequence brings contemplation into action. It explores your true vocation, your relationship with money and prosperity, and how you are designed to contribute your unique gifts to the world.

The Three Sequences of the Golden Path

Contemplation is the central practice at the heart of the Gene Keys. It is not meditation, not analysis, and not journaling though it can include all of these. Contemplation is simply the act of holding a theme lightly in your awareness and allowing insights to arise in their own timing.

Your Gene Keys may just seem like words on a page at first. But when you keep returning to them with an open heart, they begin to work on you. They start to shift the way you see yourself, the way you move through the world and the way you respond to the things that once knocked you off centre.

This is not a system to rush through. Give yourself permission to go slowly and trust the process.

What is Contemplation?

Each Gene Key in your profile also carries one of six lines. The line adds another layer of meaning and describes how that particular Gene Key expresses through you in that specific sphere of your profile.

Because every sphere has its own Gene Key and line, you will often see several different lines appear across your profile. Think of the Gene Key as the theme and the line as your personal flavor of that theme.

💖 Line 2: The Hermit - natural gifts, called out by others
💖 Line 3: The Martyr - trial and error, learning through experience
💖 Line 4: The Opportunist - networks, community, friendship
💖 Line 5: The Heretic - universalizing, leadership, projection
💖 Line 6: The Role Model - the sage, living example, wisdom
