Giving Back: Charity Water

Giving Back: Charity Water

Ohhhhhhh, money. You need it. You really want more of it.

But yet, sometimes it really is an absolute pain in the butt! Amiright?! It can create an invisible barricade around you. Locking you in place and easily becoming the excuse for why you are not ______________ [fill in the blank with the fabulous thing you always wanted to do]. 😉

BUT [and that’s a really big but], it is also pretty amazing stuff because it makes things happen!! Flowing from hand to hand, like a river’s current [they don’t call it currency for nothin’], it actually helps people!

Preventing the flow, by hoarding it and having a negative money outlook in general, stops that current. It just kinda sits there, nothing going out and nothing coming in. Stagnant.

By using it to give and help, you keep the energy swirling and somehow, always end up with more than you need by doing so.

AND SO, I’m here to tell you that this advice recently changed my life and I think you should try it so that you can improve your money relationship too! By making a conscious effort to GIVE money regularly, I have created a more positive relationship with money and am really just happier in general [because giving feels GREAT]!

Obviously I’m not at all saying, give just so you get something in return…no, no, no…give because it is awesome and you want the current to keep flowing in ALLLL the directions!

I kind of picture it like an infinity-symbol-shaped river.

When I purchase an online course to improve my business, for example, that money is going to a fabulous business owner that spent a ton of time creating that course to help someone just like me! When that course helps me make better quality content that someone buys from me it cycles back around.

People helping people. Small businesses helping small businesses. And those with more than nothing, helping those with absolutely nada.

I made a promise to myself that I would give more regularly, beginning this year, and find lots of inspiring charities + non profits out there to give to.  Each month I will post their info via blog post, in case you want to give a little too. 🙂

My current monthly GIVE BACK is going to the amazing charity below and just wanted to make sure that you knew about the wonderful work that they do.

Charity: Water

“Charity: Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Founded in 2006, it has helped fund more than 24,500 projects in 24 countries around the world, and helped 7.3 million people get access to clean water, hygiene and improved sanitation.”

It’s hard to even imagine that 1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. I love that Charity: Water’s mission is to change that.

And the best part? They have a sense of urgency about it! “We believe we can end the water crisis in our lifetime.”

Regardless of your overall life’s quest, I believe we are all here to help make a difference in one way or another. By working together and supporting each other this difference can grow this difference significantly.

Check out more info about Charity: Water here. Give any contribution you can or help host a fundraiser. Just bringing any kind of awareness to this cause is an awesome way to play a part in a positive shift. Clean drinking water is required for your body’s survival. This is definitely a resource that we, as fellow humans, should all have. Always.

Thanks for reading! Do you have any charities that mean something to you? I would love to hear all about them and possibly work with them in the future. Please contact me or leave a comment any time. *HUGS*
